How to stop email spam? There are some ways that a person can do in order not to get spam emails in their inbox. One of them is to never fill out forms that promise you free gifts. These forms are just marketing strategies of companies in order to send out their advertisements or get personal information. They will ask you to forward the spam email to them so that they can perform a trace of the spammers IP address and block it so that they can no longer send bulk emails.

A word of caution though, because once you change your email security settings, some emails that are legitimate and contain big files may be categorized as spam. So once you do this, before cleaning out your spam inbox, check it out first in order to make sure that you don't trash important emails. Also, never open spam email so that if in case that it contains viruses, the virus will not infect your computer. These are just some simple steps one can do so that they know how to stop email spam.
